On Nov. 16, AAMC held its annual Thanksgiving basket food drive for the Annapolis Light House Shelter. Employees provided more than 90 beautifully decorated baskets filled with Thanksgiving feasts, not to mention a mountain of surplus food that was also collected. “The response and support for our community has been overwhelming. This is the true meaning of giving,” said DeShirle Rowel, RN, who organized this year’s collection. Maryland House speaker Michael Busch stopped by to help deliver the food to the Light House Shelter.
