At Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC), we provide acute inpatient and outpatient care on a not-for-profit basis to the residents of Anne Arundel, Calvert and Prince George's counties and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Our mission is to enhance the health of the people we serve, and our vision is Vision 2020: Living Healthier Together.

AAMC was founded in 1902 as the Annapolis Emergency Hospital and evolved into a regional health system, which also includes: Pathways (a non-profit inpatient/outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility for adolescents and adults); Anne Arundel Diagnostic Imaging; the askAAMC nurse advice line; and satellite locations in Bowie, Kent Island, Odenton and Waugh Chapel.
